For those who did not attend the club day last Monday, this announcement is being posted to reiterate what was said in driver's briefing

A work weekend is being held in an attempt to complete the outstanding work on the pit area. This is part of the renovation work for the European Championships but also to develop the facility for everyone using the track. As a club, we are urging all who use the track to contribute to the work load of this development work.

The Halifax Track is a non-profit organisation and as such we rely on club-members to keep the facilities running. It would be nice to see everyone down there, not just the same faces!

Club champs round 7

Round 7 of the club championship will be held on October 7 not October 14 as on the calendar. This is to avoid a clash with the re-scheduled BRCA 1/8th meetings.

Club AGM

The club AGM will be held on Tuesday, November 13. All members welcome. The meeting starts at 8pm in the clubhouse. If there are any proposals you would wish to submit for the Annual General Meeting, would you please e mail them to the Secretary, dave_dransfield@yahyoo.co.uk to arrive no later than Sunday, October 28, to allow them to be posted on the website by Tuesday, October 30. Proposals should include your membership number and the name and membership number of your seconder.

Club Championships July 22.

Track closed for practise on July 14/15 and July 28/29 because of BRCA National events, so come along to the next round of the club championships on July 22.

BRCA 1/8th Re-scheduled

Because of the weather which resulted in the cancellation of the BRCA 1/8th event on June 23/24 this has been re-scheduled for September 1/2. The 1/8th section have had to move dates around because of the cancellation, one date of which clashes with our last Summer meeting of 2012. To avoid any of our drivers not being able to attend both meetings our club day for October has been brought forward one week to October 7.

Sunday, April 15th

There will be another clean up day at the track. Please can members and friends turn up to help spruce up the track in readiness for the racing season. If you can aim to get there from 9.30 onwards.

Tonight (Tuesday, April 10th) is the monthly committee meeting. This is open to all members. So if members have any suggestions for the committee on how the track is run, all are welcome.

The meeting starts in the pavillion at 8.00pm.

Saturday, March 3.

The club is having a post winter clean up day on Saturday, March 3. Nothing too strenuous is involved, just general tidying and cleaning. The more people there, the easier it is for all. See you about 9.30 - 10.

Sunday, March 4.

Last of the winter race days. Let's hope that the sun shines this time and we can enjoy a good days racing.
