Us
The Yorkshire Radio Control Model Car Racing Club was founded in 1969
with a circuit in Halifax
centre, but due to the development of the land the club had to move. In
1999 we moved to our present location it is fast but forgiving and all
drivers in whatever scaled state they enjoy it. The club has both
covered pits and rostrum, with further developments planned including a
new cafe and spectator stand.

just as A reminder the evening meetings start at around 5.30 and the Sunday meeting's start around 10am and free practice starts around 9am

Any Electric Touring Car with a SATURN 20 motor or any Pro Stock Motor
or
Any 200mm Nitro Touring Car

Hi All sorry about the delay but the 2010 Summer Series results are online

Well thats the end of round 1 of the 2010 summer series and it was great to see so many car's out there on what was predicted to be
a poor weather day the results will be added as soon as I get them from Bev
Don't forget that On Saturday and Sunday, April 10th - 11th, the Yorkshire Radio Controlled Model Car Racing Club
will be hosting a pre season test day.
All are welcome, regardless of classes and cars raced. Depending on the drivers present, practice sessions may
be structured into groups. The timing loop will be running throughout the weekend so all drivers will be able to get that
vital information for lap times.
A day will only cost £5 per driver for non-members
Come along and prep your car in an informal setting with the opportunity to talk to fellow racers about
what they are doing for the season

The committee would like to establish the classes of race for the 2010 summer series which will count
towards the end of season championships.
Proposed classes to be raced are:-
200 mm IC Touring
1/10 th Outlaw class. Max 235 mm wide, up to 15 size engine.
1/8 th IC Circuit
20 turn Saturn motor club class. Any on road chassis.
1/5 th Large Scale
Rallygame – providing at least 6 club members commit to the series.
Other combinations of motor/on road cars will always get a race but will not count towards the end of series championhip.
The club will seek comments and opinions from members at the March club day
allowing the final decision to be taken at the March committee meeting
