BRCA Electric Round 4

The last round of the 1/10th touring electric nationals took place over the weekend of the 16-17th of august.
This class has a very large following with over 100 drivers booked in spread across 2 classes 5 cell modified and Pro stock.
The track was looking in superb shape thanks to the work which had been done by the committee and club members.
Qualifying By the end of the day on Saturday with 2 rounds of qualifying left Chris Grainger had taken top spot in mod and club member Johnny Aird had put in some very impressive runs to be in 3rd place. In Pro stock Glenn Westwood was 1st. Sunday started with a very wet track but with blue sky's everybody was hoping it wasn't going to rain again, with this series running round by round qualifying everybody was out on the track trying to improve there scores that’s if you could keep the car on the black stuff! 
Notice the names of club members Johnny Aird and Tim Wood both making the top 10 in the classes.   Finals With the track now almost completely dry the 3 rounds of finals started with best 2 rounds to count. Chris Kennady commentating which always livens things up! Results are as above

Well done to all club members who competed. Overall it was an excellent weekends racing, with lots of people commenting on how good a facility we have and asking us to run more electric events in the future.
